Amy Richard - Flute & Clarinet 

 

Amy Richard enjoys an active career of teaching and performing. Originally from West Greenwich, RI, Amy received a Bachelor of Arts in Music History and a Master of Arts in Teaching Music from Rhode Island College where she performed with various ensembles, including the Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Flute Ensemble, Early Music Ensemble, Chorus, and Opera Workshop. She also had the honor of performing as a soloist with the Wind Ensemble as the winner of the 2014 Rhode Island College Concerto Competition. Amy began teaching in 2017 and currently teaches grade 6 Band and grade 7 General Music at Bridgewater Middle School.  Ms. Richard can also be seen performing with the Marion Concert Band, Mattapoisett Band, and Our Lady of Light Band.
